So there’s a friend of mine who asked me how to be a Virtual Assistant this year. And this content is made to answer that query.
1. Do your due diligence.
What I mean is…before you get into it and go to the job market. First, you have to do your own research. It is important for you to know what business you’re going into before you invest your money, time, and energy.
Understand how the business goes and you’re good.
2. Have some Virtual Assistant Training
In my Youtube channel, I’ve made a 10-Day Virtual Assistant training showcasing what I do as a Virtual Assistant. I also made it accessible to everyone, so if you’re a subscriber you can go to my Youtube homepage and look for the Virtual Assistant training I’ve prepared for you.
In this training, you’re going to learn
1 – Introduction – What is a Virtual Assistant?
2 – Basic Social Media Management
3 – Pinterest Virtual Assistant Training
4 – Youtube Management
5 – Email Marketing Basics and Fundamentals
6 – Funnel Building – Introduction to Funnels
7 – Email Marketing Automation
8 – Negotiation Basics
9 – Positioning
10 – Linkedin Outreach and Prospecting
3. Try to be an Apprentice to Other Freelancers (OJT)
This is not advisable to everyone, but if you’re really serious about being a VA, and you’re afraid because you don’t have experience, this step is probably for you.
4 . Build your Linkedin Profile and Social Media.
After you spend some time and energy training yourself and you’re decided to become a Virtual Assistant, now is the time to build up your Linkedin profile and Social Media.
5. Market the hell out of yourself.
So whatever you create on Social always market the hell out of yourself. Post the things you do as a VA, your success, your clients, everything.
Because you never know who looking at you, maybe your client is just in the background.
