There are people on Facebook who are asking me a couple of questions that are related to Social Media growth.
“Paano ginagawa mo para mag grow ang IG account ni client? Ads,post, follow bukod dyan na way?”
Okay, the first thing you have to know is why Social Media is created, what is its purpose?
And to explain that…
Here are a few lines from Mark Zuckerberg the Inventor of Facebook himself.
″Ten years ago, you know, I was just trying to help connect people at colleges and a few schools.
“That was a basic need, where I looked around at the internet and there were services for a lot of things that you wanted,” says Zuckerberg, according to a transcript.
“You could find music; you could find news; you could find information, but you couldn’t find and connect with the people that you cared about, which as people is actually the most important thing.
“So that seemed like a pretty big hole that needed to get filled.”
It is to “Build a Relationship, and have a connection”.
Whenever we post something before you think about the sales, the likes, the growth, you have to think that you’re doing it because you want to build a relationship with other people, to connect with them.
And to do that, I guess you already mentioned it.
You create a post for your audience to give them something to talk about and engage with.
And there is no secret sauce…
Or ninja tricks to have people follow you.
Because people follow you for a reason…and one main reason is the content you’re making and sharing with.
And that doesn’t mean you have to be positive.
Kung negative mental attitude ka, okay din yan.
Oo kasi pansin ko kasi sa market kung anong negative, mas cruel, mas Chaka, mas enganging.
But this is not a suggestion that you create content like that. It’s just me brain farting!
And…for ads naman, we do ads to target people and get their emails not to grow our audience. (But our email list)
Since, we did grow our social media account organically, matagal narin kasi kami nasa social.
Alright, Another one from Carl…
“Sir mag ask lang ako regarding sa pagpapalaki ng reach, likes and followers sa fb, ig, twitter at linkedin?”
Okey, halos ganun din ang sagot ko, pero ito mejo detalyado…
And here it is…
Kelangan align ka sa anung gusto ng market mo.
1 – What keeps them awake at night?
2 – What are they afraid of?
3 – What causes them PAIN?
4 – What HUMILIATES them?
5 – What makes them ANGRY?
6 – Who are they FURIOUS with?
7 – What do they WORRY about most?
8 – What are their VALUES like?
9 – What is their most URGENT “Hot Button” crisis right now?
10 – Who are their ENEMIES?
11 – What INCOME Bracket are they in?
12 – What are their political views?
13 – What FRUSTRATES them most?
14 – What do they want more than ANYTHING?
15 – What RELIGION (if any) are they?
If that are the ones you’re going to be talking about instead of your products and their features, they’re not going to lose interest or be bored.
And in that way, it’s easier for you to ask them to follow you or submit to you. (Sometimes you don’t even need to ask).
Okay, another one from Facebook, from El LE.
“Hi Coach Chad I have a question I’m currently doing Soc Med for local ecom company, how do we do forecasting for soc med kapag lahat po ng ginagawa namin sa marketing is organic since wla pa po ganun funds si client for ads, I am also doing basic SEO for their website connected to shopify pero meron kaming shopify admin”
Okay, here’s the thing about forecasting…
There are so many tools available for use on every social media platform there is…
For Twitter, there is Tweetdeck.
For Facebook, there is Facebook analytics.
For Youtube, there’s Youtube analytics.
The same with Pinterest.
The same with Instagram (If you have a business account).
Or tools like Hootsuite, Agorapulse, etc.
Engagement, views, reach, impressions, clicks, visits.
You name it you can view those stuff and they are available for your liking.
But here’s my thing about this question.
Although we have those tools to give us the information of what’s engaging and what works about our content, we cannot really don’t do much damage if we’re just going to focus on the forecasting
Kasi yung forecast, you cannot do much about it.
Watching vanity metrics doesn’t contribute at all to marketing.
Oo maganda, pero it’s not that essential.
What is essential for us is focusing on the things that we are in control of.
And for that let me get back to the content creation.
Creating content that the market wants from us.
Yes, those vanity metrics mentioned above, the engagements. It gives us a beacon of what they love, so we know what to create more.
But at the end of the day, if we’re not creating content, people will not bother to follow us.
And in your case, since you’re doing SEO.
Why not focus your attention on Keyword Research for your company.
Give them some keywords to write about, para mag improve yung SEO nang website nila.
Or give them some topics that they might be interested para madali ang pag create ninyo ng content.
Anyways, that’s are some of my guides when I do social media, if you’re interested to learn more about the next content stay tuned to my youtube channel.
